PURPOSE: To secure an assured straight advance of an optical pickup and at the same time to support with elasticity the pickup, by setting slidably an optical system member to a shaft and supporting this member at two areas by plate springs.
CONSTITUTION: An objective lens opposite to a compact disk is held in a lens barrel 35 and then fixed to a mobile member 36. The member 36 is supported on an intermediate base 45, and a shaft 46 is fixed at the center position of the upper surface side of the base 45. The member 36 is supported by an upper plate spring 49 and a lower plate spring 50. The spring 49 has a hollow rectangular form, and the center part of a long bar 49a of the spring 49 is fixed to the tip of a short arm 36c of the member 36 by a screw. While the center part of a long bar 49b at the other side of the spring 49 is fixed to the tip of a short arm 36d of the other side of the member 36 respectively. The spring 50 has an approximately H shape, and the center part of the spring 50 is fixed to a lower side 45a of the base 45.
