Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent any drop in polishing force due to loading from occurring, in a surface finishing grain material.
CONSTITUTION: A surface finishing grain material 5 is made up of coupling grains 6 of an abradant by a water soluble polymeric material 7, and when loading is produced in space between grains 6 and 6 of a surface of the grain material 5 during surface finishing operation or before loading happening there, the water soluble polymeric material 7 is dissolved in water and thereby a layer of the grain 6 of a new abradant is made so as to appear on a surface of the grain material 5, thus polishing force is maintained.
