Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten a time for delivering a product roll and feeding a core.
CONSTITUTION: A surface take-up device for a web is equipped with a product roll delivery-mechanism 22 for carrying a product roll 21 from winding rollers 10 and 12 to product take-up rollers 24 and 26, a core feed mechanism 61 for feeding a core 18 to winding rollers 10 and 12, and a cutting mechanism 30 for cutting a web 20 in a breadthwise direction after taking up the web 20. In addition, the delivery mechanism 22 for the product roll 21 and the core feed mechanism 61 are concurrently operated, thereby shortening a time for delivering the product roll 21 and feeding the core 18.
