Abstract:
To form an optical catalyst coating film exhibiting hydrophilicity on the surface of a base, consisting of a known material or synthetic resin, stuck with contamination.
A surface treating agent dispersed inorganic colloids, polyurethane substantially water-insoluble and also dispersible into water and a water- soluble polyepoxy compound into water is applied on the surface of the base, then the surface of the base is provided with a certain measure of high hydrophobic nature. An optical catalyst layer superior in a bound power against the base surface is obtained by applying the optical catalyst coating liquid on the hydrophobic surface.
