To improve the safety of banknotes accumulated in a banknote handling device provided in an inter-machine dispenser.
When a remote controller 6 is operated by a clerk for collecting the banknotes accumulated in the banknote handling device provided in the inter-machine dispenser 3, the banknote handling device of the dispenser 3 is moved from a closed position. Then, the dispenser 3 notifies a control server 1 that the banknote handling device is not positioned in the closed position. The control server 1 controls a camera 5 to monitor the notified spacer 3 and, when the spacer comes into a monitored state, notifies it to the dispenser 3. By receiving the notification, the dispenser 3 completely pulls out the banknote handling device from the body of the dispenser 3 again. Consequently, when the banknote handling device is pulled out from the dispenser 3, the situation is surely monitored by the camera 5 so that, even if the banknotes are stolen, this system can quickly specify the criminal. This invention can be applied to game parlors.
