Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the fluctuation of wire suspension length due to the expansion/shrinkage of a boom with a simple structure and with high accuracy and responsiveness.
CONSTITUTION: The rotating state of a detecting roller 74 rotated in response to the change of the length L of a main winding wire rope 28 is detected by a rotary encoder and inputted to a controller 60. The controller 60 controls the drive of the main winding wire rope 28 by a main winding winch 24 based on the change of the length L of the main winding wire rope 28 detected during the expansion/shrinkage of a boom 14 to keep the length L of the main winding wire rope 28 at the initial length before the expansion/shrinkage.
