PURPOSE: To provide a suspension bushing of innovated structure which can exert an effective vibration isolating effect both for harshness and shimmy while it is installed at the body side mounting point on a suspension arm.
CONSTITUTION: In either of an inner bushing 26 and an outer bushing 28, a pair of slits 52, 52 penetrating in the axial direction are formed so that they are positioned opposingly in the vibration input direction B as constituting a cause of harshness. In the other bushing, fluid chambers 48, 48 are formed in which a non-compressive fluid is encapsulated and which exert a vibration isolating effect based upon the flow of the fluid when vibration as constituting a cause of shimmy is input in the direction A inclined at a certain angle 8 to the opposing direction of the slits 52, 52.
