To make a tool simple and inexpensive by constituting the tool for fixing and holding a suspension coil spring in a prescribed compressed state, of a screw shaft and a nut, and to facilitate installation and removal thereof.
The suspension coil spring 12 arranged in parallel with a shock absorber abuts on a suspension lower arm 13 at a lower end, and on a spring support 15 installed in a frame 14 at an upper end. The spring support 15 is provided with a through hole 15b in which a bar-shaped locking part 31a formed on a head part of the screw shaft 31 can be inserted, and a support part 15c for receiving the bar-shaped locking part 31a in a rotation regulating state. The suspension lower arm 13 is provided with a through hole 13a in which the bar-shaped locking part 31a of the screw shaft 31 can be inserted, and a seat part 13b for receiving the nut 32 to be threadedly engaged with a male screw part 31b of the screw shaft 31 in a rotatable state. The tool 30 for fixing and holding the suspension coil spring 12 in the prescribed compressed state is constituted of the screw shaft 31 and the nut 32.
