Title:
SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08268025
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve both of comfortableness and grounding capability by restraining a vehicle body and wheels from vibrating by Skyhook theory.

CONSTITUTION: The damping force for conducting damping control for a vehicle body 10 is calculated by a sprung required damping force calculating part 30 based on Skyhook theory. The damping force for conducting damping control for the wheel 12 is calculated by the calculating part 32 of an unsprung required damping force based on Skyhook theory. The unsprung required damping force is calculated based on the corrected unsprung velocity whose detected signals are passed through a filter 28, thus removing unnecessary signals so that it may occur only around the unsprung resonance frequency. The damping force which should be a control target by adding sprung and unsprung required damping forces is calculated by a calculating part of controlling damping force, and based on this damping force, damping coefficient is controlled by an adjusting part 36.
