To provide a suspension mechanism capable of effectively adjusting vehicle height by a simpler constitution without providing a plurality of motors for one wheel.
In the suspension device 12 for the in-wheel drive unit, the wheel 1 and the in-wheel drive unit 2 for driving the wheel 1 are suspended at both left and right sides of a vehicle body 8 respectively. The in-wheel drive unit 2 is provided with a differential device 4 comprising at least three rotation elements S, one rotation element R of the differential device 4 is bonded to a power source 3 of the in-wheel drive unit 2, and the wheel 1 is bonded to the another rotation element C. Further, the another rotation element S is engaged with a vehicle body side gear 6 mounted to the vehicle body 8, and attitude of the vehicle body 8 is varied by turning the vehicle body side gear 6.
