To provide a seat assembly of an axle housing which is cost-efficient and hardly loosened.
In a suspension assembly 10 including a first suspension member such as a rear axle housing 12 having first and second opposing sides 14, the housing 12 includes spaced apart corners 16. A first seat 18 and a second seat 20 are respectively adjacent to the first and second opposing sides. Each of the seats has inwardly facing surfaces 32 interconnected by an intermediate surface with the inwardly facing surfaces engaged with the corners and the intermediate surface spaced from the side. The intermediate surface and inwardly facing surfaces of each seat form a continuous unbroken surface with the inwardly facing surfaces facing each another. Fasteners such as U-bolts or a pair of bolts 24 secure the first and second seats around the first suspension member to secure a second suspension member 22 to the first suspension member 12.
