Abstract:
To provide a sustained release device capable of stably maintaining a releasing effect of medicine for a long term.
This sustained release device comprises a polymer hollow yarn membrane 1 formed of a lamella structure, wherein pores in the inner and outer walls of the hollow yarn 1 are composed of fine spaces made by cleavage of the lamella layer, the inner and outer walls are mazily connected to each other through the fine spaces dispersed in the lamella layer within the lamella structure, and a nitrogen gas permeability of the hollow yarn membrane 1 is 10 to 1,000 L/min.m2.kgf/cm2.
