Title:
SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5756681
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a lubricating efficiency in a compressor used for a vehicle's air conditioner or the like by using for lubricating the compressor an oil which is separated from refrigerant by means of a porous oil separating member which covers throughout an open area of a swash plate chamber and in addition separated from the refrigerant in an oil separating chamber.

CONSTITUTION: An oil stirred and dispersed by a swash plate 2 runs towards a suction chamber of a compressor along with a refrigerant and while passing through a porous oil separating member 29 which covers throughout an open area of a swash plate chamber 7, most part of the oil is separated from the refrigerant and flows down into a swash plate chamber 7, most part of the oil is separated from the refrigerant and flows down into a swash plate chamber 7. In addition, the rest part of the oil flowing outside with the refrigerant is separated from it in oil separating chambers 19, 19'. The oil separated from the refrigerant in the front oil separating chamber 19 goes through a passage 26a into a through hole of a shaft 3 and some of the oil acts for lubricating a front radial bearing 9 or the like. The oil separated from the refrigerant in the rear oil separating chamber 19' acts for lubricating thrust bearings 10, 10', a rubbing face of the swash plate, and others. As mentioned above, the oil is separated from the refrigerant by the oil separating member 29 and again separated from it in the oil separaring chambers 19, 19' for lubricating the compressor so that its lubricity many be increased more effectively.
