Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching control device that reduces a dead time in accordance with a state of switching elements.SOLUTION: A switching control device 10 for controlling switching of a three-phase inverter 60 comprising series of semiconductor modules including IGBTs and diodes connected in antiparallel fashion includes: a microcomputer 20 for generating driving signals to command the IGBTs to turn on and off which include dead times to keep the IGBTs of the series off simultaneously; transfer circuits 30 for transferring the driving signals generated by the microcomputer 20 to the IGBTs; and current sensors 40 for detecting currents flowing through the semiconductor modules. The microcomputer 20 sets the dead times of the driving signals on the basis of values of the currents detected by the current sensors 40.
