To provide a switching device capable of easily detaching a rotary knob and a push button fitted into a detection part.

The switching device 20 is provided with a first detecting part 22, a rotary knob 21 engaged from the outside in the radial direction with the first detecting part 22 capable of angular displacement, and a push button 23 engaged with the first detecting part 22 from an inside in a radius direction in free sliding displacement. The push button 23 is engaged by a button-side engaging part 36 at the tip-side of a button-side locking piece 33 with a button-use engaging part 37 of the first detecting part 22. A button-side slanted part 38 is formed at the outer periphery of the push button 23, and a knob-side protrusion 29 is formed at the inner periphery of the rotary knob 21. When the rotary knob 21 detached from the first detecting part 22 is pulled toward a detachment direction R12, the knob-side protrusion 29 comes, in contact with the button-side slanted part 38 to have the button-side locking piece 33 deformed inwardly, and to release the engagement of the button-side engagement part 36 with the button-use engagement part 37.
