Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power circuit which can get high power factor with small loss of a semiconductor switch element at conversion into DC power.
SOLUTION: This switching power circuit has diode bridges D1-D4 to which AC voltage is applied, a reactor L1 which is connected to this other end, the first diode D5 which is connected to this, a transformer TR to whose first winding the other end of the first diode is connected, the first transistor Q1 whose conduction path is connected to the other end of the first winding, a capacitor C4 which is connected to the reactor and the first diode, the second diode D7 which is connected to one end of the third winding and the other end of a capacitor, and the second transistor Q2 to whose conduction path the other end of the second diode is connected. The first and second transistors are turned on and off with different timing.
