PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a conveying apparatus by synchronizing the approaching and separating movement of a moving frame, the axial movement of both cams and the operation of a clamp mechanism by the first guide bar rotated by a single rotation driving source.
CONSTITUTION: A cam member 117 and the third cam 146 are rotated with the first guide bar 101 by operation of a motor 104. Both arms 107, 108 are moved by the first link mechanism 123 operated according to the first cam 121, and a driving rod is moved relatively to the arms by the second link mechanism 124 operated according to the second cam 122, thereby to operate a clamp mechanism 112. Further, both moving frames 105, 106 are brought close and separated to and from each other by the third link mechanism 147 operated according to the third cam 146. Thus, the whole mechanisms are synchronized by the first guide bar 101 to eliminate the need of plural driving sources, which results in reducing an apparatus in size.
