Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically detect synonyms of a word within document data and to notify a document preparing person.
CONSTITUTION: A synonym dictionary 11 stores a synonym index, synonyms and their application examples so as to enable retrieval through the synonym index. A detection part 12 detects words with meaning similar to or same as that of the word within the document data prepared by means of the synonym dictionary 11. A correction part 13 notifies the document preparing person of the detected synonyms and corrects them according to the instruction of the document preparing person.
