PURPOSE: To increase the comfortableness of passengers at the time of acceleration and deceleration by giving the same speed as that of the magnetic belt of a foregoing magnetic belt conveyor unit at the point of time when a vehicle shifts between magnetic belt conveyor units by a variable voltage and variable frequency apparatus, and by controlling a driving motor at specified acceleration and deceleration after the vehicle shifted.
CONSTITUTION: Because the same speed as that of the magnetic belt 3 of a foregoing magnetic belt conveyor unit 2 is given at the point of time when a vehicle 5 shifts between magnetic belt conveyor units 2 by a variable voltage and variable frequency apparatus, there is not speed change when the vehicle 5 shifts between the magnetic belt conveyor units 2. Therefore, the vehicle can shift smoothly to a succeeding magnetic belt conveyor unit 2 and any shock can be eliminated. Because a driving motor 4 is controlled so as to accelerate and decelerate the vehicle 5 at specified acceleration and deceleration after the vehicle 5 shifted, the acceleration and deceleration can be conducted smoothly.
