A document-distributing server 101 of the document distributing system stores an electronic document and an image to which the document is made into, is connected to the Internet 103 by a dedicated line or the like and can transmit information with a WWW server function corresponding to access from the Internet 103. Furthermore, the document server 101 is connected to a public line 104 as well and can transmit the imaged electronic document via the public line 104 to facsimile equipment 105 or the like. An information processing terminal 102 accesses the document distributing server 101 via the Internet 103 and the imaged electronic document stored there can be browsed.
