PURPOSE: To obtain the desk which enables computer input/output operation to be done without any burden and use the desk as an ordinary desk.
CONSTITUTION: A top plate 13 consists of an upper top plate 20 and a lower top plate 21. An area is formed as a movable top plate 20A by partially cutting the upper top plate 20, and this movable upper top plate 20A is provided on the top surface of a swivel plate 25 provided in the gap C between the upper top plate 20 and lower top plate 21. A keyboard 40 and a display 41 are mounted on the movable lower top plate 21A as the lower top plate part in the lower corresponding area of the movable upper top plate 20A. The movable lower top plate 21A is elevated through an elevating mechanism 30 and movement is allowed after the movable upper top plate 21A is moved down by the mechanism.
