A signed and sealed written contract is taken in as a written contract image by a FAX transmitter/receiver 20 or the like having a function taking in a document to convert it into an image, and connected to an electric communication line, and the taken-in written contract image is transmitted to an authentication server 10 from the FAX transmitter/receiver 20 or the like via an analog telephone line or the like. The authentication server 10 authenticates an individual about respective signed part and sealed part inside the received written contract image, executes overall decision from the individual authentication executed about the respective parts, and transmits a decision result thereof to the FAX transmitter/receiver 20 or the like via the analog telephone line or the like. The FAX transmitter/receiver 20 or the like outputs the received decision result to the outside.
