To provide a combination of a basic power amplifier measuring function and a measuring system self-test function into one RF circuit to improve reliability and reproducibility, to reduce the costs and to improve the accuracy without cutting a high power RF switch or DUT.
An apparatus includes, a device 40 to be measured, a network analyzer 30, a first switch 200, a second switch 210, a third switch 230, a first air line directional coupler 130 and a first attenuator 170. The characteristics measuring method includes a step for supplying a higher harmonic wave signal from the device to be measured to a spectrum analyzer, a step for supplying a generated signal and a reflected signal to a first receiver located within the network analyzer, and a step for recording a parameter deviation of the network analyzer.
