To make plural clients share pieces of hierarchically managed information via a network 3, an electronic cabinet 1 generates list information on information that the user of a client 2 can use from the pieces of hierarchically managed information and supplies the list information to the client 2. When the information that the user can use is updated, new list information is supplied to the client 2.
