Abstract:
To provide an Mn-Zn-based ferrite of low power loss at a high frequency (for example, 500 kHz).
The Mn-Zn-based ferrite contains, as principal components, Fe2O3 at 55mol% or higher and ≤58mol%, ZnO at 0mol% or higher and <10mol% and consists of the balance substantially MnO and contains, as auxiliary components, Li2O at 0.01 to 0.17wt%, CaO at 0.05 to 0.28wt%, and SiO2 at 0.005 to 0.04wt%. The average crystal grain size of the particles constituting the ferrite is 3 to 8 μm.
