Title:
PRODUCTION OF COLOR FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH063517
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the transfer efficiency of respective picture elements and the light transmittance of the color filter and to obtain the color filter having an excellent spectral characteristic and chromaticity characteristic by superposing a base body formed with picture element patterns and another base body formed with a conductor layer on its surface and impressing the voltage of the polarity in a reverse to the polarity of the electrostatic charges of toners to the conductor layer.

CONSTITUTION: The photoconductive layer 3 on a base 1 is first electrostatically charged by using an electrifier and is then exposed via a light shielding mask having picture element patterns, by which electrostatic latent images are formed. The photoconductive layer is developed to complete the picture elements 6 after the formation of the electrostatic latent images. Another base 4 is then superposed via the conductor layer 5 on the surface of the picture elements 6 in such a manner that the pattern surface of the picture elements 6 and the conductor layer 5 come into contact with each other. Transfer is executed by impressing the high voltage of the polarity in a reverse to the polarity of the electrostatic charge of the toners of the picture elements 6. The base 4 is peeled from the base 1 by pulling upon ending of the impression to complete the transfer of the picture elements 6 form the base 1 to the base 4. The picture elements are thereafter subjected to a baking treatment for fixing the toners, by which the formation of the picture elements of the first color is ended.
