PURPOSE: To take out and precisely supply a TAB without damaging it, and mount the TAB after precise alignment, by installing a supplying hand of floating structure and a positioning means.
CONSTITUTION: A tray 10 is provided with a means positioning a TAB (tape automated bonding) 1, and accommodates TAB 1 in a matrix type. A tray supplying equipment D stacks trays 10 in tiers. A supplying hand B takes out the TAB 1 from the tray 10 by sucking. According to the supply program of TAB, a supplying robot C transfers the hand B to a necessary taking-out equipment of the tray 10 by numerical control. A positioner E receives the TAB sucked by the hand B after positioning, and carries the TAB as far as the delivering position of a mounting hand L. An XY-robot G positions the mounting hand L and a mounting head F equipped with an optical position detecting equipment M, in the X, Y directions. A pallet coveying part J carries a pallet H wherein an LCD 200 is positioned.
