Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly store and retrieve text information independent of philological features in wide-range languages by performing the text compression/ restoration operation in accordance with abstract grouping and correlations between text characters.
CONSTITUTION: Routines 70, 72, 74, and 76 starting with a user interface 70 include application programs of a system. Characters and a related context of a text are continuously read, and text characters and corresponding code characters for the related context are selected, and code characters are so stored that a compressed text is constituted. Code characters of this stored compressed text are continuously read, and a related context is read from a known restored part of the text for code characters, and code characters and corresponding text characters for the related context are selected, and text characters are so presented that a restored text is constituted.
