A tableware dryer has a steel plate-made tableware receiving tub 1 having an opening on the front surface to receive the tableware therein, a door 6 for covering the opening of the tableware receiving tub 1 to open and close the same, a heater 8 to warm cool air for drying the tableware on the upper part of the tableware receiving tub and an air blower motor 9 to send suction air from the exterior through the tableware receiving tub to the exterior. A bottom plate is made of plastics, and the tableware receiving tub is formed on the inner surface of the sidewall with a projected drawn part projecting inside. An inverted U-shaped elastic body 17 is inserted between the lower surface of the drawn part and the outer wall of the bottom plate 12 butting against the same. Rounded projections 23, 24 are formed on the surface of the inverted elastic body 17 contacting the projected drawn part projecting inside from the inner surface of the side wall of the tableware receiving tub.
