Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and firmly fix the tail end part of the coil coiled with a tension reel and to fix the tail end part of the scrap coil capable of omitting the tightening of the coil after that.
SOLUTION: In this device, the tail end part of the scrap coil 2 coiled the defective part of a thin steel sheet around the tension reel 1 is fixed. In this case, the tail end part of the scrap coil is pressed onto the coil with a pressing member under the state held the outer periphery of the coil with a snubber roll 6 after finishing coiling, a welding gun and a contacting gun 4 are abutted to the outer surface of the coil, and the inner surface of the first coiled steel sheet and the outer surface of the second coiled steel sheet from the outside of the coil are spot-welded to fix.
