A connector 10 includes an insulative housing 16 equipped with a wire slot 22 to receive a tap wire, a through wire passage 24 to receive a through wire, and a terminal receptacle cavity 26 extending in the transverse direction relative to them. The terminal 30 has the first 50 and the second insulative covering cut-in ends 54 to be connected with the tap wire and through wire, is installed in the cavity movably between the first position in which the tap wire can be inserted into the wire slot and the second position in which the first cut-in end terminates at the tap wire, and is furnished with a flat surface 60 where an insert tool is engaged to make the drive from the first position to the second position. A lid 18 is fitted on the housing 16 and engaged by the through wire in the through wire passage, and the through wire is driven so as to make insulative covering cut-in termination with the second insulative covering cut-in end of the terminal.
