Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress lowering of error rate due to repeated traveling of tape by disposing a cleaner for cleaning the rear surface of tape at a part of tape traveling path. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cleaners 1 having unwoven fabric are disposed at the opposite end parts of a tape guide 2 such that the cleaners 1 come into contact with the rear surface of a tape 3. Since unwoven fabric of the cleaner 1 contacts constantly with the rear surface of the tape 3, fine foreign matter adhered to the rear surface of the tape and abrasion powder produced through repeated operation are removed by means of the unwoven fabric and since foreign matter is held in the unwoven fabric, it is prevented from dropping out and lowering of error rate is suppressed.
