Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to change the distance between the tape stretched and the reel shaft, by making side-free a part of the frame forming the cassette toward front and back. CONSTITUTION:The front frame 3 of cassette is freely slided toward front and back of the cassette via the guide pieces 4a, 4b with the cover 5, and the frame 3 is locked to a given location with the L-shaped hole 37 provided with the lock pin 10 and the guide piece 4b. Thus, the distance between the shafts of the reels 6, 7 and the tape stretched with the tape guide shafts 24a, 24b fixed to the frame 3, is changed, allowing a small sized tape cassette to be used for VTR using a large sized tape cassette.
