To solve problems wherein oblique breaking and rewinding phenomena occur to the end of a wide transparent tape due to tension or the like in cutting and it is difficult to confirm and secure the end of the wide transparent tape when reused, thereby causing notable waste of time and resources, and a plurality of products of large and small diameters, width dimensions, etc. are provided for transparent tapes, but a tape cutter already on the market is dangerous because its cutting teeth are of external fixed type, and lacks interchangeability because it is only for a single product.

Tape tension intercepting and end holding functions are developed to eliminate the defects of the transparent tape, and tape holding frames are combined to provide a multifunctional cutter allowing the combined use of large, small and different width tapes. A side plate 2 and an auxiliary plate 3 are connected to a connecting cylinder 1, and a tape presser 4 is brought into pressure contact with the upper face of a cutout part 1a of the connecting cylinder 1 by driving rods 6a, 6b. A plate 8 with cutting teeth is slid by driving plates 9a, 9b to clamp and cut the tape. The side plate 2 includes a combination of holding frames 11, 12 of large and small diameters and a cutout part 13. The plate 8 with cutting teeth is safe because of its internal insertion type, and comfortable packing work can be performed while saving resources, time and labor.
