Title:
TAPE FOR DETECTING NONMETALLIC BURIED PIPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000266239
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To hardly receive damage by an external force by covering a conductive thin layer with a flexible and extensible synthetic resin coating and providing an insulating or semiconductive adhesive layer on one face of the coating.

A conductive layer 2 formed by dispersing and mixing stainless fine fiber, etc., in polyethylene resin is coated with a coating layer 3. The coating layer 3 is formed by coloring flexible and extensible synthetic resin, for example, polyethylene resin into green and print displaying prescribed matters on its surface. An adhesive layer 5 is provided in one face of the coating formed of the coating layer 3. Where the coating layer 3 and the adhesive layer 5 are set to semiconductor, for example metal or carbon fine powder is mixed therein at low density. This detection tape 1 of this constitution is closely stuck to a buried pipe surface plainly so as to be strong against an external force in the circumferential or axial direction of a pipe and bear the severe working environment.
