PURPOSE: To provide a titled device which performs repetitively exact welding by sensing and storing the position of a supporting means where said means faces a weld noze and the height attitude of a torch end by relatively high voltage and low current and teaching the same to perform arc welding by relatively low voltage and high current.
CONSTITUTION: A switch 204 of a power source device 200 is changed over to a relatively high voltage and low current power source 206. The X-, Y directions and axial H angle value of the object W to be welded on an attaching plate WP and the height Z and directional angle of the end of a torch 109 are successively stored into a sensing means 400. The switch 204 is then changed over to turn on the power source for relatively low voltage and high current welding and the storage is taught to perform arc welding. The always exact welding is repetitively executed by teaching even if the object W is exchanged.
