To transfer telephone call to the destination of each person even when plural persons use one telephone set by transferring identification data of the person to a telephone set of each person's destination when user identification data of each person among plural persons who usually use the telephone set is registered with relation to the telephone set that is usually used.
User identification data of each person is stored in a private branch exchange 2 with relation to a telephone set 6a that is usually used, and identification data from an IC card 8 is transferred to a modem 4b of a telephone set after it is moved and registered in the exchange 2 with relation to the modem 4b. When an access signal comes in from a line wire or an extension, a person except the person himself picks up a receiver, the person confirms a telephone of the person himself and inputs the identification data of the person himself through a key of the set 6a. The modem 4a and the exchange 2 decide whether the identification data is registered with relation to the person himself, and when it is registered in the exchange 2, the exchange 2 transfers the telephone to a telephone set 6b via the modem 4b.
