To easily and surely transfer data by providing a storage means for a signal showing transfer to a private branch exchange (PBX), to which a receiving means belongs, when a telephone signal is inputted to a corresponding telephone set, while the identification data of ordinary user of telephone set read from an IC card by that receiving means are data belonging to the other PBX.
When a MODEM 4a of telephone set 3500 receives identification data 3500 transmitted by the IC card, a PBX 2a judges the data belong to the same PBX, and a transfer signal is stored in a transfer signal storage means 20a. At such a time, when the IC card transmits an identification code 3400 to the MODEM 4a (code 3500), the identification data are sent through the exchange 2a to a PBX 2 because of relationship with the code 2500. Then, a transfer signal storage means 20 at the exchange 2 stores the signal of telephone call incoming to a telephone set 3400 at a head office as a signal instructing the transfer to the telephone set 3500 at a branch office A. Thus, the telephone call can be easily and surely transferred, not only in the case of the same PBX but also in the case of move into the other PBX.
