Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reproduce a picture with high quality by deciding an equalizing quantity while using an output signal or an input signal of a waveform equalizing means as a reference signal. CONSTITUTION:A changeover means 103 switches a video detection output from a tuner of a television receiver and a video signal of VTR reproduction and outputs the output to a picture display device 110 via a ghost eliminating device 105. Thus, when a picture is observed by the display device 110, ghost is eliminated. Then it is not required to provide respective ghost elimination devices for each television receiver tuner for the video recording of other program of the VTR and the picture whose ghost is efficiently eliminated is displayed.
