Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly select the magnification and the magnifying position in accordance with the source by repeating successively the magnifying/reducing operations in a prescribed range for each input of a magnification setting signal and moving the magnifying position in the designated direction for each input of the magnifying position setting signal.
CONSTITUTION: A wide setting key 103 is inputted by a user in a wide mode display state and then inputted to a mode setting circuit 111 via a magnification setting signal encoder 108. Then the switching is carried out between a cursor ON mode showing a magnifying position on a screen and a magnification display mode. Under such conditions, a magnification setting key 102 is inputted and supplied to a magnification setting circuit 113. The circuit 113 decides the magnification in accordance with the input frequency of the key 102 and changes the magnification of a magnifying circuit 115. Meanwhile a magnifying position setting circuit 112 decides a shift extent of the magnifying position according to the input frequency of the cursor shift keys 104-107 with input of these keys and supplies the decided shift extent to the circuit 115. Thus the magnification and the magnifying position can quickly be selected.
