Abstract:
PURPOSE:To consolidate functions and to reduce power consumption at the time of radio reception by displaying a channel selection, sound volume, a mode, etc., at the time of radio reception in the image display of a television, and stopping the function of said display when the display is not necessary. CONSTITUTION:In a device compounding a television receiver and a radio receiver, the function of the television image displayer 13 is operated depending on a discrimination signal E which represents whether or no the channel selection, the sound volume, the mode, etc., outputted from the channel selector 12 at the time of radio reception is to be displayed. In such a way, by using the television image display 13 for displaying information necessary at the time of radio reception, the functions are consolidated, furthermore, the power consumption at the same time can be decreased.
