PURPOSE:To control a temperature with the same stable accuracy even when a target temperature is widely changed by lowering the gain of the integrating control of a control system when the control condition of a body to be controlled is monitored and the specified hunting or above appears at the temperature. CONSTITUTION:A coefficient I is multiplied to a difference value in which a target value and a temperature detecting output by a sensor are subtracted and processes. When the sum of the multiplied value and the multiplying result of a coefficient II to the integrating value of the difference value comes to be a control value and is coincident with the set value at a coincidence circuit 7, the conducting of a thyristor is controlled by the circuit 7, the alternating current electric power supply to a heater is controlled by the conducting phase angle control of the thyrister and the temperature of a thermostatic oven and so on is controlled. When the control condition is monitored, by the detection of the zero point passage of the difference value, the number of times to exceed the reference value of the difference value and so on and the hunting occurrence is decided at the prescribed value or above of the excessive number of times, the coefficient II comes to a be small value, and the sensitivity of an integrating control system is lowered by the gain reduction. IN the same way at the time of the prescribed value or below, the sensitivity is increased, a stationary condition without off-setting is obtained, the target temperature is widely changed, and even then, the stable temperature control with the same accuracy is executed.
