Abstract:

To perform temperature control of an integrated exhaust emission reduction system to reduce particulate matters (PM) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) from exhaust gas flow of a diesel engine.

The integrated exhaust emission reduction system includes a diesel particulate filter (DPF), a heat source to regulate the temperature of the exhaust gas flow into the DPF, at least one selective catalyst reducer for NOx, a heat exchanger to regulate the temperature of the exhaust gas flow into the NOx reducer, and a computer to monitor the temperature and/or the pressure of the exhaust gas flow in the DPF and the NOx reducer and to control the effect of the heat exchanger and the heat source. The efficiency of the DPF and the NOx reducer is enhanced thereby.
