Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform secure constant-temperature control by moving the slide piece of a resistor with a coil made of shape memory alloy and a bias spring. CONSTITUTION:The series body of a heater 1 for heating and the resistor 3 is connected to an electric power source 2, and the slide piece 4 of the resistor 3 is moved to control the current of the heater 1, to control heating temperature. This resistor 3 is wound around a bobbin 6 and its resistance value is varied by the slide piece 4 and a conductive plate 5. Further, the coil 7 made of memory shape alloy and bias spring 8 provided in heat collecting fins 10 are formed pressing the slide piece 4 in the mutually opposite directions. Consequently, when the shape memory alloy attains to reverse transformation temperature, the slide body 4 moves to limit the amount of electricity feeding so that desired temperature is obtained.
