Abstract:
To provide a temperature estimation device, with which, while estimating the temperature of a storage battery with high accuracy, it is possible to estimate the temperature of the storage battery in the period required for said estimation.SOLUTION: Provided is a temperature estimation device 30 used for a power supply system 100 equipped with a storage battery 14, for carrying out an impedance calculation process of applying an AC voltage of a plurality of frequencies to the storage battery and calculating the impedance ZA of the storage battery at each frequency, as well as estimating the temperature of the storage battery on the basis of the calculated impedance. The temperature estimation device 30 comprises: a period determination unit for determining to be an impedance calculation period in which the impedance calculation process is carried out; and an alternate estimation unit which, when in the impedance calculation period, estimates the temperature of the storage battery by an alternate estimation process in which the temperature of the storage battery estimated on the basis of impedance before the current point of time and/or a detection value by sensors 18, 20 that detect the temperature of the storage battery or the correlation value thereof are used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
