Title:
TEMPERATURE SETTING DEVICE, EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR THERMOTHERAPY USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3257586
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively treat a target tissue through fluid induced thermotherapy with which the energy consumption of fluid heating is minized and damage to cause in case of fluid leakage can be suppressed to a minimum only by using the minimum circulating fluid.
SOLUTION: Thermotherapy equipment is composed of a tube-shaped element 3 with comparatively low conductivity for receiving the circulating fluid, housing element, receiving, fixedly holding and electrically connecting this tube-shaped element 3 with an electric circuit, and transformer 11 electrically connectable to this electric circuit. Both the ends of the tube-shaped element 3 are electrically insulated and connected to a heat insulated tube (piping) element. A sensor 9 is provided for detecting the temperature of the tube-shaped element 3 and the sensor 9 and the transformer 11 are electrically connected with a controller 12. Based on the temperature detected by the sensor 9, the duty cycle of the transformer 11 is controlled.
