To provide a temporary closing structure which can be installed to a specified position of foundation concrete, in which a necessary space to a column body can be secured without widely enclosing as in case of using steel sheet piles, and in which problems of traffic control like that in construction of the steel sheet piles, or vibration or noise can be eliminated by providing a temporary closing member provided with seal members to form water tightness at junction parts between box members and junction parts to the column body.

A temporary closing structure comprises a box body comprising side plates 2 to surround a column body P such as a pier and a bottom plate 3 to be jointed with circumferential wall surfaces of the column body P, and parted into plural box members on which folded ribs are formed at junction parts between the box members and at junction parts to the column body P, and seal members to form water tightness are provided at rib junction surfaces. By thus forming the temporary closing structure of the plural box members on the circumferential wall surfaces of the column body P, an enclosing range can be smaller. Problems of traffic control in case of using steel sheet piles, or vibraiton or noise can thus be eliminated.
