To provide a tenter provided with a filter material capable of maintaining a desirable collecting efficiency with the size and form thereof corresponding to an installation space even if filtered gas is increased, with regard to the tenter which stretches a sheet-like object in the crosswise direction by grasping the sheet-like object in the process of conveyance from both sides of the sheet-like object and applying tension to the sheet-liker object sideways in a box.

This tenter comprise a bellows-shape filter material 72 where sets consisting of a first plate-shaped part 72a, a first return section 72b, a second plate-shaped part 72c, and a second return section 72d are connected, a belt-like plate 731 which is provided at either an inflow port 70a or an outflow port 70b and extends in a connecting direction of the set thereof, and a plurality of insertion parts 732 inserted from one side toward the other side between the return sections 72b and 72d neighboring each other at either the inflow port 70a or the outflow port 70b, wherein the plurality of insertion parts 732 are provided with a shaping member fixed onto the plate 731 in comb-shape.
