Title:
TERMINAL ATTACHMENT METHOD FOR TUNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5539482
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out the simultaneous soldering within a high-temperature bath and thus to simplify the processes by attaching the terminals via the ring-shaped solder and through a pair of attachment holes provided to the tuner shield case in such way that the terminal is attached from outside to the upper surface of a pair of opposing surfaces and from inside to the lower surface each.

CONSTITUTION: Attachment holes 4 and 5 are provided on a pair of opposing surfaces A and B of shield case 1 of the tuner, and then terminals 2 and 3 featuring maximum diameters 2a and 3a plus minimum diameters 2b and 3b are attached to holes 4 and 5 via ring-shaped solder 6. In this case, terminal 2 is inserted from outside onto upper surface A, and terminal 3 is inserted from inside onto lower surface B respectively. Under these conditions, case 1 is put into high-temperature bath 7 to carry out the simultaneous soldering for terminals 2 and 3 on surfaces A and B via solder 6. Thus the two terminals can be attached at one time and through just one process, accordingly increasing the working efficiency.
