Abstract:
A terminal apparatus, a location server, and a communication method for improving position estimation accuracy by using beamforming are provided. A terminal apparatus includes: a receiver configured to receive a positioning reference signal (PRS) in multiple PRS resources from a reference cell and one or more neighbor cells individually; a position measuring unit configured to measure position information; and a transmitter configured to transmit the position information, wherein a reference signal time difference (RSTD) is determined from reception timing determined from one of a plurality of the PRSs received from the reference cell and reception timing determined from one of a plurality of the PRSs received from a neighbor cell of the one or more neighbor cells, and the position information is transmitted that includes the RSTD, information (a PRS resource indicator (PRI)) indicating a PRS resource of the multiple PRS resources of the reference cell used for calculation of the RSTD and a PRI of the neighbor cell.
